Pembroke Road / Kingsend update September 2012
With the recent approval of a planning application to construct 61 residential dwellings on land at Lyon Court 28-30 Pembroke Road, we are surely reaching a saturation point in terms of new developments in these localities. The situation is hardly likely to get any better with new planning law making the presumption in favour of sustainable development, unless there are sound grounds for refusal. The question then arises, would the new National Planning Policy Framework override Hillingdon's own Local Development Framework guidelines recently approved by Central Government?
