Ruislip Residents' Association

The external signage erected at the Post Office with a particular emphasis on the 'NISA' grocery brand was considered unsuitable for a Conservation Area and the planning application for consent was refused by the local planners. Subsequently the appellants went to appeal but this too ruled against them. One month was given for the signage including advertising material to be removed and whilst this time has now expired the central NISA panel remains. The Association have contacted the local authorities enforcement team as to how they are to proceed. We will continue to keep you informed as to developments.
