Warrender Primary School in Old Hatch Manor is in the process of expanding from a one form entry to a two form entry school. This means that eventually each year group from Reception to Year 6 will offer places for 60 children. The first larger cohort of pupils will commence with the new Reception intake for September 2018.
The expansion includes a new two-storey classroom block comprising eight new classrooms, staffroom, library/ICT suite, technology suite, studio, breakfast club and a multi-use games area.
The school already provides 40 Nursery places, 20 Morning, 20 Afternoon and takes children as soon as they turn three years old. Currently they still have a few vacant places.
Warrender’s latest Ofsted report in November 2016 continued to grade the school as Good. At present the school has a relatively small catchment area which will expand from 2018, giving parents in the Ruislip area a greater choice of Primary School for their children.
In the old building teachers are already preparing colourful and inviting classrooms for the new 2018 Reception intake. Prospective parents are always welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit.*
