We are very lucky that the Pauline Quirk Academy will soon be offering Weekend Performing Arts Classes for local young people from Ages 6 – 18 at Bishop Ramsey School. The academies were set up in 2007 by the well-known English actress, Pauline Quirk and now operate in over 200 locations in the UK.
One of the Academy’s mantras is; “BE YOURSELF BE AMAZING”. At PQA they endeavour to build self-belief by encouraging young people to step out of their comfort zones, develop new skills and be their amazing selves in a supportive environment. Through experiencing all that the performing arts has to offer, young people can grow into grounded, confident adults.
Classes for ages 6-18 are three hours long, with industry-expert teachers leading sessions in musical theatre, film and TV, comedy and drama.
On Saturday, May 17th. the Ruislip Academy will be holding an Open Day from 9.45am to 1.00pm which is free to come and meet the team and see what PQA has to offer for young people aged 6-18.
